Stephen Devassy - A musical name to watch out for !

Stephen Devassy a highly- graded pianist (understood to be Asia'a highest scorer in Piano Exams from London Trinity College of Music) at just 28 years old and had so far accomapanied all the big named musicians in India: KJ Yesudas, Hariharan, Sivamani, AR Rahman, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Louis Banks, L.Subramaniam, Shankar Mahadevan, Vidyasagar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Ouseppachan .... are to be named a few. He is really popular with his musical presence in Amrita TV's Music Reality Show. Apart from being the Member of the famous devotional music group " REX BAND", he is also the founder member of the Mallu Rock band, SEVEN. Although he had a silent opening in independent film music direction with "Hariharn Pilla Happyanu", he is largely present in the film music scene with sound designing or playing Keyboards for many of the current big music directors.

His notable album ventures are:

a) Sacred Chants released by Kosmic Music: Fusion of Sanskrit Kirtanas with Western Orchestration. Superb Experience.... !!!
b) Romanza: Piano instrumental album, with beautiful vocal support from Hariharan, Karthik. Also featuring Ouseppachan on the Violin. Brilliant effort.... !!! Just listent to it. All tracks are worth listening.
c) Seven: Album by Rock Band from Kerala of the same name. Featuring Franco on Vocals. Good experiment at those times....! (released almost 5-6 years ago).
